Wafer Type Butterfly Valve  

The disc of the wafer type butterfly valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipe. The valve is fully open.

 butterfly valve has simple structure, small size and light weight. Butterfly valve has flexible seal and metal seal two kinds of seal type. Flexible sealing valve, seals can be inlaid on the valve body or attached to the disc peripheral.

Wafer type butterfly valve is installed by double end bolts to connect the valve with the pipe flanges.It’s structure is sample,the volume is small and the weight is light,consists by only a few components.And it can be opened and closed quickly only by rotating 90 degree,so it is easy to operate.At the same time,wafer type butterfly valve has good performance for liquid flow control.

Standard Test:    

Body Test: 1.5 times the working pressure with water. This test is performed after valve assembly and with disc in half position open, it is called as a body hydro test.    

Seat Test: 1.1 times the working pressure with water.    

Function / Operation Test: At the time of final inspection, each valve and its actuator (Flow-Control Lever / Gear / Pneumatic Actuator), under goes a complete operating test (Open/Close). This test carried out without pressure and at ambient temperature. It ensures the correct operation of the valve / actuator assembly with accessories such as solenoid valve, limit switches, air filter regulator etc.    

Special Test: On request, any other test can be carried out according to special instruction by client.
